We have a solid background in computing. Andy got his first computer (a ZX Spectrum) in 1983 and proceeded to learn "Basic" and use it to program his own games. This progressed to a Computer Science A-level where he was taught to program in "Pascal" on the PC platform (before they had hard drives or Microsoft Windows). He then left for Edinburgh to do a  Computer Science Degree and studied a variety of languages and operating systems including Unix, Prolog (artificial intelligence) & ML (used in military aircraft computer systems). He graduated in 1992.

He has served his time as a computer networking technician and built countless PCs including his own.  The custom build is a particularly useful service if you require a system that is streamlined for a particular purpose such as audio recording or gaming. It also gives you complete control over what goes into the box.
